WASHINGTON— 50 Cent, one of the highest selling rap artistes in America has decided to change his stage name due to rising inflation of the U.S. dollar. "From now on, I will be known as 3 Dollars." 50 Cents, as he was previously known as, proclaimed. 50 Cent, whose musical career had started in 1998, had always thought his stage name was "cheap" and "retarded" and "dumb as fuck". Taking advantage of inflation (which has always been present since shells became widely used as a form of currency), 50 Cent decided to change his stage name before it became too cheap to buy anything. "50 cents can't buy no shit! C'mon, tell me, what the fuck can 50 cents buy? 3 dollars, now that shit can buy a Big Mac." 3 Dollars, previous known as 50 Cents 3 minutes ago said. "50 cents in 1998 was a fortune. Now? It's hardly worth a shit." 3 Dollars, previous known as 50 Cents 4 minutes ago shared his sagely wisdom. "You gotta keep up with the times, if 50 cents becomes cheap, you raise it. If the prices keep rising, l'll be called 6 Bucks in no time." Response to the controversial rapper's has been indifferent. "50 cents, 3 dollars, who cares? It's still cheap." muttered a homeless man under the bridge when interviewed. " Now if he (Rest of the words were drowned by vigorous humping sounds by two men a few metres away)." Source: www.newshere.com/2009/1/10/rising_inflation_results_in_name_change_for_50_cent |
